March Update: News, Bags, and Sponsorship

March 14, 2014 4 Comments

We have a few things to cover so we will get right to it.

First, we would like to start off by apologizing that we are sold out of bags. We underestimated the demand for our products and in turn have been dealing with processes and scheduling conflicts with our factory. We are still unsure of the official release date, and will be releasing a timeline as soon as we know the details.

Secondly, bags. We are happy to officially announce that we will be adding a third bag to our product line! Details and design are still on the hush hush but if you are a tournament player, you are going to love it. Like all of our bags, this will be built to the highest standards of design, durability, and comfort. We do not take the phrase “the most comfortable backpack in disc golf” lightly and we ensure this will always be at the core of our bags.

As some of you have seen, we are also making improvements to the Focus and Shift. We have listened to the community regarding the bags and are overly excited to show you what we have come up with. Although neither bag was without its quirks, we have proven that a disc golf backpack can hold a handful of discs and still be a versatile, great looking bag. Don’t worry, they are the same great bags. We’ve simply straightened the kinks.

Lastly, sponsorship! Starting today we are officially accepting applications for sponsorship. If you are interested or know someone who would be, email us at [email protected] Include your PDGA number and answer these three questions.

Please make more bags!!! I love your design and you have been sold out since I saw it. As an avid disc golfer in the NW, this is perfect for some of the more strenuous courses. So excited to see what you guys have coming up!

SPC Vang,

Please check out Hucking Aces and Shinbone disc golf on Facebook. Both are run by veterans and could possibly help you with sponsorship. HA is looking for tournament players, but Shinbone sponsors E-4 and below to play in tournaments.

Hello Upper Park Designs,

I would love the opportunity to be sponsored by Upper Park Designs. I am currently in the military but due to injuries while deployed I am in the process of getting “medically discharged”. I find that disc golfing gives me a sense of freedom and peace. A small group of family and friends recently started a disc golfing team so that we can compete locally and for fun. After doing months of research, I have fallen in love with your designs for disc golfing gear! It is the epiphany of what I consider easy on the eyes, not bulky, but yet so much room for storing my stuff. I attempted to purchase some of your gear which was sold out —bummer! Although, I have yet to own any of your items, I would be so honored if I were to be selected for sponsorship.

Feel free to check out our Facebook page.
